On the 24th and 25th of April a successful PLEXOR implementation training took place at GVM in Arlesheim. GVM procures and transports natural gas on behalf of its affiliated 15 local suppliers in the Mittelland area as well as in northwestern Switzerland.
To this end, GVM operates its own high-pressure network with transfer stations. This transport system is used to transport natural gas to local suppliers and direct customers. This means that PLEXOR is now not only used for inspection of distribution networks in Switzerland, but also for the high-pressure network.
The main reasons that GVM has decided to start using PLEXOR are the paperless, independent and auditable test results, the logging capability (RESULTS), the graphical representation of the measurement data (DIAGNOSTICS), and the high accuracy of the PLEXOR system.
